Someone who understands that success is NOT dependent on the alignment of the stars, and who is quick to blame others and circumstances for their failures–In other words, someone who is willing to stand up and take responsibility for one’s life and do this publicly.

Someone who understands that life will NEVER stop—there will NEVER be an ideal time to start going for one’s legacy. NEVER.
Someone who is on a quest…who has an unyielding desire…who has an insatiable passion to do whatever it takes. Whatever it takes!
Someone who is a listener first, an immediate doer second, and a talker third.
Someone who has placed great emphasis on building relationships where one has a large emotional credit in one’s favor.
Et cetera.
Now what do you suggest that I do given this situation?
One of the fundamental principles which was responsible for my success is that I have never moved faster in life than when I have invested in myself financially. In fact, my greatest advancements have always been congruent to the size of my investment. How do I balance coaching someone live with the fundamental principle that I stand by whole-heartedly. It’s this: one will NEVER move forward fully if there is not a significant investment made.
I have proved this over and over again in my life whether it has been in the area of sports, working out in the gym, or building my own businesss. When I invested in my self, I always performed at the highest level possible.
In fact, I have noticed that there is something cool about investing in yourself. I remember when I hired my first business coach—we did NOT have any money by the way and had to open up another line of credit. It felt great. There was this quiet calm that I was ready to stand up and be accountable. I knew at a gut, viscereral level it was my time.
I am curious about what you think about this problem that I am wrestling with.
